Lynne Jacoby

Principal

Ms. Jacoby is recognized as an industry leader with 30 years of retail and contract food service experience. She is an expert in operational analysis and her creation of detailed business plans have resulted in process improvements and company growth for her clients.

Ms. Jacoby collaborated in the development of an analytical tool which improves processes and procedures in both the Contract Dining (FANS) and Retail Restaurant space. She has also created propriety brand concepts and implemented two nationally branded concepts for a major food service company. Ms. Jacoby developed and implemented numerous operational and financial systems for contract management companies, franchise operations, independent restaurant operations and retail food services.

Prior to JBH Advisory Group, Ms. Jacoby was head of the Food and Beverage practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, served as a Senior Vice President for a multi-billion dollar food service management company, a restaurant group Developer/Manager, a Market Analyst and Retail Specialty Food Buyer, a restaurant owner, and President of a NYC catering company.

Brian Berger

Principal

Mr. Berger is an industry expert with vast knowledge of food service management, development, operational and financial analysis. His 19 years of experience in dining services includes, casual, upscale, full-service, quick service, fast casual establishments, and contracts (hospitals, businesses, stadiums, and universities).

Mr. Berger is accomplished in the assessment of market factors and concept research to create strategies that coincide with trends and/or conditions. He has also performed comparable studies of multiple markets, site selection criteria, construction guidelines and creation of models to optimize real estate usage.

Mr. Berger created a formalized program for transparency within contractual agreements to protect the client's interests. He has extensive experience in managing the assessment, Request for Proposal and contracting processes for multiple services, including food and nutrition, environmental services and patient transport within the healthcare sector. He also prepares expert witness opinions, strategies, and produces valuations of restaurant entities for litigation purposes.

Prior to JBH Advisory Group, Mr. Berger spent eight years as a food and beverage consultant within PricewaterhouseCoopers Hospitality & Leisure practice. His past work experience includes restaurant operations, advisory services, and contract dining operations with companies including ARAMARK, Houston's Restaurants, Legal Seafood and Domino's Pizza. Mr. Berger also developed and operated his own establishments.
